Value dates follow market convention from the ECB fix. Forward points and rates come from live market quotes inside the platform. How we build these. Need a date between these tenors? Use the date lookup.

The problem
Your payment dates aren’t 1M, 3M and 6M
Your invoices, debt payments and revenues settle on the 15th, the 20th or the last day of the month. Most FX feeds hand you standard market tenors instead, and you are left working out which one is close enough.
What you need
The dates your contract actually settles on.
What a standard feed gives you
Not one of these is your date, so you are left rounding to the nearest tenor and carrying the difference every month.
What BlueGamma gives you
The rate for each date you asked for, in the platform. Nothing to round, nothing to explain to your auditor.
Try it with your own date → Rates unlock with a free 14-day trial.
How the numbers are built
The USD/HUF forward curve: every date between the tenors
BlueGamma builds the full USD/HUF forward curve from live market data, then reads the rate off it for whichever date you ask for. The tenors in the table above are points on that curve, not the whole of it.
- Live spot. Streaming USD/HUF spot in the platform, second by second.
- Quoted forward points. Market quotes out to the last traded tenor.
- Yield curves beyond that. Past the last quote, forwards come from the USD and HUF curves under covered interest parity, and are flagged as derived.
- Market conventions applied. Spot lag, holiday calendars for both currencies and end-of-month rules, so a value date is a real value date.
This chart shows the shape only, no values. USD/HUF currently trades at a forward premium; the priced curve, for every tenor and any date between them, is in the platform and the API.
Stop rebuilding it by hand
Use the dates already in your model
Instead of copying forward points into Excel and working out a rate for each payment date, send the dates and get the rates back. One function in Excel, one call in the API. A 60-date payment schedule takes one request; change the dates, the rates follow.
Used by treasury, project finance and private credit teams
“We had 48 EUR payment dates in the model and no clean way to price them. We used to ask the bank and wait. Now the dates go in and the rates come back, and the whole model refreshes in one go.”

FAQs
The live 3-month USD/HUF forward rate, its value date and its forward points are in the BlueGamma platform, refreshed through the trading day. The forward rate itself is licensed market data, so it is not published on this page; a free 14-day trial shows it in the web app, Excel Add-in and API. If your payment settles on a date that is not exactly three months out, use the date lookup above to price that exact date.
Yes. The REST API returns USD/HUF forwards as lightweight JSON for pricing engines, risk models and treasury systems, and the Excel Add-in pulls the same numbers into spreadsheets with one function. Both are included in the free 14-day trial. The FX forwards guide and a step-by-step API tutorial cover the details.
Yes, and that is the point of this page. Standard tenors, from one week (1W) through 1M, 3M and 6M, are just points on the forward curve. BlueGamma builds the whole USD/HUF curve, so you can ask for 20 October, the last business day of the quarter, or any other settlement date out to 2027 and get the rate for that exact day.
Forward points are the difference between the forward rate and the spot rate, quoted in pips: the US dollar to Hungarian forint exchange rate agreed today for a future settlement date. USD/HUF currently trades at a forward premium because HUF interest rates are above USD interest rates. The live points for every quoted tenor are in the platform.
From the spot rate and the interest rate differential between the two currencies, under covered interest parity. Out to the last quoted tenor, BlueGamma uses quoted market forward points. Beyond that, forwards are derived from the USD and HUF yield curves and flagged as derived, so you always know which is which. Market conventions, including the spot lag, both holiday calendars and end-of-month rules, are applied to every value date.
Because HUF interest rates currently sit above USD rates. Buying USD forward means giving up the higher return for the period, and the forward rate compensates for that, so the premium grows with time to maturity. The premium at each tenor is visible in the platform.
Yes, in the platform. Every historical curve is stored with its as-of date and time, so you can pull the USD/HUF forward rate as it stood on any past valuation date and reproduce the number later.
In the platform, yes: spot rates stream in real time and forward points update dynamically through the trading day. This page shows the daily reference fix with its timestamp; the live curve sits in the platform, Excel Add-in and API.
Yes. The free 14-day trial includes full platform access, the Excel Add-in and the API documentation, so you can validate the forwards against your current models before committing. No card required.
Yes. The BlueGamma Excel Add-in returns the forward rate for a date with one function, =BlueGamma.FX_FORWARD("USDHUF", A2), so you can point it at the payment dates already in your model and drag it down the column. The same data is available through the REST API.
Over 1,500 pairs, from G10 majors through to emerging market and frontier crosses. The same date-based lookup works on all of them, so a model with EUR, USD, BRL and INR cash flows can be priced off one source.
